Nature walk!

Thought I'd share a picture from last week. The boys and I went on a 'nature walk'. I did not know what they meant by that, but the weather was nice, the sun was out, so I was game!

I now know that it means you pick up every interesting-looking stick, rock, leaf, pine cone and (insert whatever else you see outside here). Apparently we need to keep all this handy to make a 'nature creature' on some future date.

It was a fun way to blow a couple hours on a nice day. Afterwards we went out for (free of course!) ice cream at Culver's to celebrate. I think next time we will bring buckets to hold the loot! At least I convinced them that the loot (crap) stays outside!
