In Need of Help

I am in need of some guidance and was hoping someone out here in cyberspace can help!

About a month ago I bought a stainless steel frying pan (with aluminum core) in an effort to get away from cooking with the chemicals that are in the non-stick teflon.

Everything is either burning or sticking to the bottom no matter what I put in first. I have tried different cooking oils; putting in on while the pan is warm and while it is still cold.

I am just about ready to go back to the teflon pan because this is so frustrating.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Little tricks that work? Anything?????

Please leave a comment on the post. Thank you!

(If you have any questions yourself, I can post yours as well!)

JCPenney $10 off $10 deal going on now

So, there is a code right now for JCPenney for $10 off your order. Thanks to Sandra for her scenario below.
JCPenney deal if your interested...this is the second time we have done this, last time it was with the Mothers Day promo code...if you have questions just ask...

Buy something online for around $14.99 (or more if you want)

Enter Coupon code...DADROCKS...and get $10 off a purchase of $10 or more at checkout

That will bring your total to $11.54 (shipping is $5.95, tax and remaining balance after the $10 off)

Then they will offer you after checkout a spot to hit a little red button that says "save $10 off this order"

Sign up for JCP Family Fun Promo, you will need to mail them a copy of your purchase, then they will send you a $10 check back in the mail, which brings your total to $1.54,

(you will need to call and cancel within the month or be charged $9.95 for the program)

but thats not all...

Through JCP you can buy discount gift cards, we bought the gas cards...they let you buy 3 $25 Shell, 3 $25 BP & 3 $25 Mobil gas card for $20 each, saving a total of $45 in free gas! You can also buy discounted cards for Borders, Barnes and Noble, Michaels Crafts and a few others.

Ok, that was as clear as mud, right? :) By doing it 2 times we got $90 in free gas, a few outfits for Brenna and a set of bed sheets for the girls all for free. Gotta love a great deal! :)

Noah's Ark "A" Days- starting NOW

Walgreens from last week

I realize this was from last week, but I thought I would still share as I try to catch up on my posts.

  • Quaker Oats BOGO $3.19, used (2) $1 IP to get both for $1.19 total
  • Kotex U tampons $3.49, used $1 MQ- got $2.50 register reward to = free
  • Aluminum foil $0.59 each with ad
  • Lysol Cleaner BOGO (rain check from previous week) $2.99, used (2) $1 IP to = $0.99 for both
  • Butterfinger $0.50, MQ to get free

All told, I spent less than $6, got a $2.50 register reward and saved over $11. Works for me!

Special note: be sure to ask for a rain check if something you want is out of stock. It allowed me to get the toilet cleaner cheap even though they were out when I tried to buy it originally.

Finally- a new Post! And it is a mad/crazy deal!

First off, I want to apologize. Blogger has been down for a couple days, so even though I tried, I wasn't able to get any blogs up. Darn technology! Kidding!

Now for the mad crazy deal----

I don't typically buy Snapple, even though my hubby loves it. But I couldn't pass up this deal I found at Pierce's.

A 6 pack of Snapple is priced at $5.99. Above the display was a tearpad for a full price refund on one 6-pk. There was also a $1 peelie coupon attached. So, I paid $4.99 after the coupon and sent off my rebate for $5.99!! I love a money maker!
